If you're like me, you run multiple forum hosts and would rather a collective of directories related to the software, not the individual host. Well, here's a quick script that will enable you to do this with echophp's phpBB forum hosting client, versions 2 and 3. Instructions are pretty easy to follow:

Step 1:
Download and unzip the included files
Step 2:
Open dbcon.inc and edit the necessary details. You'll need BOTH your forum AND your phpld database information
Step 3:
Upload these files to your webserver. It is NOT necessary (or recommended) that you put them in your forum directory, just put them in your account.
Step 4:
Create a cron job like the example
Minute Hour Day Month Weekday
*/30 * * * * /home/youruser/directorize.php > /dev/null 2>&1

It is NOT recommended that you put this in the public_html directory as it does contain your username and password for both phpbb and phpld databases. For this reason,
I recommend you leave it in your user directory, as /home/user/directorize.php

This has been tested and found working on phpbb2 and phpbb3. As well, this works for both phpld3 and phpld4. For some examples of how this is used
(and if you want to submit your own host), see http://www.phpbb3dir.com and http://www.phpbbdir.com . Both of these are updating as mentioned, via cron.
